FSDC offers a diverse range of programs tailored to meet the needs of its target groups, including:

• Vocational Skills Training – tailoring, catering, hairdressing, beauty therapy, tie & dye, handicrafts, etc.
• Entrepreneurship Development – business management, financial literacy, and small enterprise creation.
• Literacy and Numeracy Programs – designed to strengthen foundational skills for participants.
• Life Skills and Personal Development – communication, leadership, and confidence building.
• ICT and Digital Skills – basic computer literacy and online business tools.

Target Beneficiaries

• Women and housewives seeking to gain income-generating skills.

Impact

Since its inception, FSDC has trained and empowered hundreds of Gambians, many of whom have gone on to start their own businesses, gain employment, or improve their family incomes. The Centre’s approach not only addresses unemployment and poverty alleviation but also promotes gender equity and youth inclusion in The Gambia’s development process.
